After graduating from Miami University Greg moved to Cincinnati to pursue a very expensive music career. Greg is considered the free safety of the company. We rely on Greg to come on to a project as it nears completion and make it sing. He is a great painter, drywall finisher, carpenter, interior designer, and master of most trades. Greg can be seen playing guitar at Crossroads Community Church.

Michael Johnson

Michael serves as our in-house electrician. We first met Michael in 2000 and it was quickly apparent he would be doing all of our electric work. Michael is a tireless worker with an incredibly positive attitude.

John Coleman

Field Supervisor

John is a graduate of Cincinnati Country Day and Charleston University. With 20+ years experience in construction, Big John is an imposing figure on the job site and is an effective manager and communicator. Marc met John through John's neighbor who was a co-worker with Marc's wife.

Ricky Laudermilk

We consider Ricky one of the most versatile on the team. Already Ricky has nearly 10 yrs experience in construction and can effectively accomplish many phases of the trade. A graduate of Mariemont HS, Ricky is a carpenter, tile setter, mason, concrete finisher, roofer, and family planning specialist.

Owen Gibby

Pictured here is perhaps the most dramatic before and after in Michaelson Homes history. While working on a project at the Gibby residence we noticed Owen might fit in well with our team. Only a sophomore in high school at the time, Owen worked summers doing whatever tasks were asked of him. He soon was framing projects and doing a great job on interior and exterior trim. After graduation from Mariemont High School, Owen joined us full time and has become a fantastic carpenter. It must be noted that we complete projects faster than we were able to get Owen to cut his hair.

Bud Adams

Bud comes to us from Addison Homes and serves as our senior carpenter, cabinet/ furniture maker, and consultant. Bud has been in the home building trade for 45 years.

John Douglas

John is a Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy graduate and attended UC for 3 years in the Construction Management Program. Contrary to what this picture might indicate, John is drug-free and quickly becoming a talented carpenter.

Bob Kirby

A firefighter in Loveland and Milford, Bob is our in-house mechanic and superstar carpenter. Bob has 25+ years in the fire service and auto repair industry. Bob is everyone's favorite member of the team because of his hard work ethic, punctuality, humor, and incredible skills.

Keith Rucker

A football teammate of Marc's at Ohio Wesleyan University, Keith enjoyed a successful NFL career and is currently teaching and coaching at Walnut Hills HS. Keith is a seasonal employee who works during summer break.

Keith McConn

Keith works part-time with Michaelson Homes. Keith is proprietor of Rhinos Bar on 12th St. downtown and is required to work a few nights a week there. When available, Keith is incredibly strong and a great carpenter.

Jeff Carle

After serving in the Army as a 1st Lieutenant from 69-71, Jeff spent the next 30 years working with computers for Proctor and Gamble retiring as Associate Director. Jeff is a resident of Terrace Park and serves as the Chief of the TP Fire Department. After retirement, Jeff taught pre-engineering at Western Hills, continues to teach electronics and computer technology at Cincinnati State and Brown Mackie College. In addition to being our Safety Officer, Jeff does electric, plumbing and we also lean on him for some administrative help.

Chris Bechtold

is a seasonal employee and football player for Moeller. Chris is a quiet and diligent worker.

Bill Singer

Bill left the construction industry in 2003 to seek eternal bliss through marriage. Lucky for Michaelson Homes, Bill is once again single and back in the trade.

Ted Dostal

Ted is a Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy graduate and an Iraq War veteran with the Marine Corps. Ted joined MH in Fall of 2005 and has aquired many skills quickly. He is our in-house heavy-equipment operator and a thoughtful problem solver. For example, Ted was recently married and realized the potential for a problem at the reception. Ted snuffed out the problem by thoughtfully not inviting any of his co-workers to his wedding.
