Marc Michaelson

Marc is a graduate of Toledo Central Catholic High School and Ohio Wesleyan University. With nearly 14 years of general contracting experience, Marc has developed a team and a process for the completion of exceptional home renovations and custom construction in an efficient manner. Marc is a volunteer fireman with the Terrace Park Fire Dept., and coach of Nate and Nolan's hockey teams. 

Denny Burnes

Partner

We knew we had found a loyal worker when we discovered that Denny had been married for 28 years. His relationship with Michaelson has lasted 8 years so far, and he continues to add value to the team by drawing from his 40+ years of experience in the industry. He is a skilled carpenter and site supervisor.

Michael Johnson

Partner & Electrician

Michael has served for 6 years as our in-house electrician, and continues to value the experience of working with our dedicated team. Michael is a tireless worker, and can always be identified by his trademark fedora.

David Lewis

Cabinet Builder

David retired from the corporate world a few years ago, and now lends a hand in our cabinet shop. He enjoys building creative designs for discerning customers, and the opportunity to work with other talented craftsmen.

Mark Taylor

Cabinet Finisher

Mark has worked in our cabinet shop for just over 2 years, but holds over 18 years of experience in the industry. He enjoys the hands-on approach that Michaelson takes towards each project, and shares our passion for quality craftsmanship.

Robert Reese

Carpenter - Site Preparation

Rob met Marc during Marc's guitar touring years when he showed up to play a gig at the restaurant where Rob was bartending. A friendship quickly formed, and Rob has enjoyed the experience of working at Michaleson with coworkers whom he considers his close friends.

Justin Hart

Carpenter - Framing

Specializing in framing, Justin has said that he enjoys working at Michaelson because it offers the chance to work with good people. This is Justin's first year with Michaelson, but he has already proven to be a valuable part of our team.

Cameron Childs

Summer Employee

This is Cameron's first summer working with Michaelson Homes. He is currently attending The Citadel, with a focus in Criminal Justice. He enjoys working at Michaelson Homes for the positive atmosphere and cool MH t-shirts.

Will Portman

Summer Employee

Will is enjoying his first summer with Michaleson Homes and is grateful for the opportunity to learn so many new skills. His tireless work ethic makes him a great addition to our team. Originally from Terrace Park, he is attending Yale University.

William Feuchter

Site Preperation

Billy joins us with over 2 years in the industry specializing in demolition and site preperation. Along with working at Michaelson Homes, he is currently attending UC and also finds time to take care of his pet...a 29 pound cat! Billy's favorite part about working at MH is the constantly changing work environment and the opportunity to immerse himself in new projects.

Robby Routt

President

Robby joined the Michaelson Team as co-founder in 2003. As a retired CPA, he handles all of our accounting work. Robby was also the driving force for establishing our in-house cabinet shop.

John Coleman

Partner

John and Marc have worked together for over 13 years, proving that a strong friendship provides stability to a successful business. John is an expert in all phases of the construction process, but particularly finds pleasure in seeing a satisfied customer move into a new home that he helped to build.

Ricky Laudermilk

Partner

Ricky serves as head of our Final 5 program as well as our Small Projects Group. His 12 years experience in the industry have made him an expert in just about every aspect of the construction process, and he loves working with all the great people at Michaelson.

Justin Williamson

Cabinet Builder

Justin brings over 12 years of cabinet making experience to the Michaelson Homes cabinet shop. The job keeps him busy, although he still finds time to play a number of musical instruments, and pursue his passion for whitewater kayaking.

Lisa Hirtzel

Interior Designer- Selections Coordinator

Lisa graduated from Miami University with a degree in Interior Design and has experience in both commercial and residential design. She enjoys working with the clients to create unique, high quality designs, and assists with material selections and ordering.

Kevin Casey, Sr.

Carpenter

Kevin is a highly skilled carpenter with over 25 years in the field. His favorite aspects of working at Michaelson Homes include the professional atmosphere and motivated people.

Owen Gibby

Finish Carpenter

Owen has worked with Marc since he was 16, and likes the variety of work that the job offers. In his spare time, he enjoys pursuing his hobbies of cycling and beermaking.

Brian McCurren

Summer Employee

Brian is enjoying his summer break from St. Xavier High School, and we are pleased to have him as a part of the Michaelson Homes Team. He is a quick learner and motivated worker.

Connor McCurren

Summer Employee

A recent graduate of St. Xavier HS, Connor will be attending The Ohio State University in the Fall. He enjoys the challenge that the work at Michaelson Homes offers, as well as the fulfillment of working on quality projects with such friendly people.
